OneCity is an Entertainment Company

We coordinate experiences
that turn participation and storytelling into impact.

Everything Begins With Participation.

Moving Entertainment Into Impact.

WHY

Entertainment has the power to bring people together.

But attention alone is fleeting.

The most meaningful experiences invite people to participate.

OneCity exists to turn participation and storytelling into impact.

HOW

We create experiences, media, and community initiatives that invite people into the story.

By combining participation with storytelling, we transform audiences into contributors, supporters, volunteers, donors, creators, and advocates.

Every experience becomes an opportunity to create connection, trust, and momentum.

WHAT

OneCity produces participation-driven entertainment, community experiences, and storytelling initiatives.

Through programs like Donor Tours™, media productions, volunteer activations, fundraising campaigns, and community partnerships, we help organizations engage audiences beyond a single event or transaction.

We turn participation and storytelling into impact.

WHEN

Impact happens when people move from watching to participating.

Whether someone joins a donor tour, volunteers at an event, attends a production, supports a campaign, sponsors an experience, or shares a story, every action contributes to something larger than themselves.

Because meaningful change doesn’t begin with attention.

It begins with participation.

People don't want to simply consume.
They want to participate.

Our Vision

Inevitable impact through meaningful participation.

Our Mission

Turning attention into participation and participation into impact.

Our Team

Christian Bruce

Founder | President & CEO

Executive Producer

Community Storytelling & Participation Ecosystems

Christian Bruce is the Founder, President & CEO of OneCity Group and serves as the Executive Producer behind OneCity Media’s regional storytelling and participation ecosystems.

His work focuses on designing coordinated environments where media, hospitality, philanthropy, civic engagement, and public participation move together through shared trust, continuity, and purpose.

Rather than treating storytelling as isolated content, Christian approaches it as social infrastructure, building systems where people, organizations, and communities remain connected through meaningful participation over time.

His background in systems thinking, coordination, and public-facing execution emerged through years of supporting organizations navigating growth, operational complexity, and multi-party collaboration across nonprofit, consulting, and media environments. Over time, that work evolved into a broader philosophy centered on ecosystem stewardship: the belief that trust, continuity, and participation are the foundations of scalable human-centered experiences.

At OneCity, Christian leads the development of hospitality-driven productions and coordinated storytelling environments designed to unify donors, sponsors, nonprofits, creators, volunteers, production teams, and civic stakeholders into shared public experiences.

His work operates at the intersection of:

  • storytelling
  • systems design
  • emotional infrastructure
  • public participation
  • hospitality
  • long-term community coordination

Christian’s leadership philosophy is rooted in the idea that growth should never outpace understanding.

Rather than separating strategy, operations, production, and relationships into disconnected functions, his work focuses on building environments where people, movement, and decision-making remain aligned as ecosystems evolve.

As Executive Producer of OneCity Media, Christian oversees the development of large-scale participation experiences designed to operate across cities, platforms, and public-facing environments while maintaining emotional coherence, operational continuity, and human connection at scale.

His broader vision for OneCity is the development of a long-term media and participation infrastructure company designed to support storytelling, philanthropy, hospitality, workforce engagement, and civic connection through coordinated ecosystems that create meaningful public experiences over time.

Jordan Cote

CFO & Board Member

Jordan Cote is a Certified Public Accountant with more than nine years of experience supporting public, private, and nonprofit organizations through complex financial and operational environments. His background includes financial statement audits, internal control assessments, compliance, budgeting, and governance systems designed to support long-term organizational stability and accountability.

Jordan currently serves as an Assurance Manager at CohnReznick LLP within the firm’s nonprofit and social impact audit practice in Los Angeles, where he supports organizations navigating financial risk, operational complexity, reporting discipline, and regulatory requirements. His work focuses on helping mission-driven institutions maintain visibility, structure, and confidence as they scale.

At OneCity Group, Jordan serves as both Chief Financial Officer and Board Member, helping steward the governance and financial infrastructure behind the organization’s long-term growth. As OneCity expands into regional storytelling, participation ecosystems, public-facing productions, and multi-party coordination environments, his role helps ensure the organization remains operationally disciplined, financially grounded, and structurally durable over time.

OneCity’s financial governance model is designed to support complex collaboration across nonprofit, business, civic, hospitality, media, and community stakeholders without losing accountability, transparency, or trust as participation increases. Jordan supports the systems, controls, and financial oversight that allow the organization to scale responsibly while maintaining clarity around resource stewardship and long-term decision-making.

His expertise in nonprofit financial environments strengthens OneCity’s ability to build trusted partnerships with philanthropic organizations, community institutions, sponsors, and public-facing initiatives operating across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.

His involvement helps reinforce OneCity’s commitment to building an institution designed for continuity, coordination, and trust across regions, partners, and evolving participation ecosystems.

Alex Jang

Senior Producer, OneCity Media™

Alex Jang is a people-centered producer and operations leader who helps steward the environments, coordination, and execution systems behind OneCity Media’s participation-driven productions. Her work focuses on creating experiences that feel grounded, welcoming, and cohesive as complex projects move from vision into real-world public engagement.

As Senior Producer for OneCity Media, Alex supports the coordination of production ecosystems that bring together nonprofit organizations, hospitality environments, volunteers, donors, creators, sponsors, and community participants into unified storytelling experiences. Her role centers on maintaining continuity across people, logistics, communication, and audience-facing execution as productions scale across cities and partnerships.

Alex operates at the intersection of production coordination, participant experience, and operational stewardship. She has a strong instinct for where friction appears inside systems and works to ensure that movement across teams, partners, and environments remains clear, human, and aligned. Her approach helps transform large-scale coordination into experiences that feel natural, relational, and trustworthy to the people participating in them.

In her broader professional work, Alex is a Project Implementation Specialist with National Co+op Grocers, supporting cooperative organizations at a national level as they navigate operational change, coordination, and implementation. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, contributing governance oversight grounded in practical operational experience and community accountability.

Her background across operations, media, implementation, and community-facing work allows her to translate between strategic vision and day-to-day production realities. At OneCity Media, this perspective strengthens the organization’s ability to operate complex participation ecosystems while preserving clarity, warmth, and consistency across public-facing experiences.

Alex previously served as a local host and contributor for SACTV (now operating as OneCity Media), where she helped shape community-centered storytelling environments designed to connect people through conversation, visibility, and shared experience. That same people-first philosophy continues to inform her role today as OneCity Media expands its hospitality, storytelling, and participation ecosystem across new productions and cities.
